Favorite GF Products

Here is a list of my Favorite GF Products (believe me there a lot of gross GF products out there)

1. SunFlour Mills - www.sunflourmillsidaho.com - Love, Love, Love everything they have. From all purpose flour to pumpkin cake, from pastry flour to pizza/french bread mix.  And tons of yummy recipes on their website.  I have been able to use old family recipes by just adding xanthan gum.
2. Pamela's Baking & Pancake Mix- Also good pancakes.
3. Canyon Bakehouse bread (Whole Foods) Yummy! Better than Udi's which used to be my favorite.
4. Schar pastas and bread ( I make mini pizzas with the french bread syle)
5. Mission Corn Tortillas (We make yummy Mexican chicken tacos)
6. Chi Chi's Mango Salsa
7. Costco has some great gluten free options - Life tastes good multi grain chips, Mission Tortilla Chips, Clif fruit ropes, almonds, pecans, walnuts, pistachios, etc.  Always check labels
8. GF Rice Crispies, Rice Chex (all but wheat chex :)
9. Chebe Bread - Brazillian Cheese Bread (you can order at my store (GF Store tab) or pick it up at Gluten Free Foods, Good Earth, Against the Grain, Bountiful Nutrition, but call ahead it goes quick)
10. Thanksgiving tip - Kinnikinnick Frozen Pie Crusts, yum.  My family couldn't tell the difference.  I tried making several recipes, but this is by far the best.  Only down side is that they are super small, one pumpkin pie can will fill 2 1/2 crusts, just fyi.
11. Tinkyada Pasta Joy - Love their penne pasta and macaroni noodles.  Biaggi's uses these in their GF pasta dishes.  Yummy!
12. Bisquick for quick and yummy pancakes or strawberry shortcakes.
    
13. Gluten Free Foods, Layton, UT  - Used to love this place, but thanks to the FDA I now have to check the label on something that says gluten free.  Make sure to check labels to make sure it is not processed in a plant that processes wheat/gluten.  Less than 20 ppm will do the same damage to your intestines even if you don't have a reaction.
14. Walmart now has a lot of Gluten Free products, just not all in their GF section.  Great Value will say gluten free on the package.
15. Harmons is fantastic when it comes to gluten free products, you can find it where it would normally be and they try to label everything with a purple tag.  Their customer service is awesome, so don't hesitate to ask if you can't find something.  They also host gluten free cooking classes, so watch for that on their website.
16. Dick's - in bountiful now has a gluten free section - this is where I get my chebe bread and sunflour mills flour mixes and Schar bread for the bagel pizzas that my family loves.
17. Costco or Sam's Canned Cooked Chicken (always check labels, Sam's actually says Gluten Free on the label) (We use this when in a hurry to make dinner i.e. chicken tacos or enchilada bake)
